BASICALLY they know they are inadequate and jealous of
our supposed amorous and skillful lovemaking.
So rather than work on improving thier lives they want to
compare and control what we do so we don't have any
fun or pleasures so that can validate their own inadequate
lives and the wrong choices they have made.
If only they had met Dr. Phil when they were young and impressionable....

it is such a shame and to be honest, they need to look in the mirror before they pass judgment. They probably have some of the most failed and cheating marriages of everyone, because as they should know, God don't like ugly. lol but anyway, i agree, and to be honest with you, this is one of my main reason for not having a definite religion. I feel they all pass judgment and are very negative. Ex: if you don't do this and that you will go to hell. what kind of a person thinks this is acceptable. If religion really was accepting then they would accept life and people for what it is and who they are, and stop trying to make everyone into their own mold of what they feel is good, all based on the updated opinions of the new world.

I'm a Christian and I don't even care what other Christians.let alone gays, do in bed. As a matter of fact, I don't care what anyone does in their own bed. It's none of my business. All Christians are not the same just as all Gays are not.

i individually do no longer ideas. as long as they might supply a secure, happy, solid and worrying atmosphere then particular, of course they might. Why? because of fact i do no longer think of somebody's sexual activities (as long as they're criminal) could denote what somebody is like as a discern. i individually do no longer care if the mummy and dad scream approximately what they do of their "inner maximum existence" from the roof tops, some promptly couples try this. yet whilst they're prepared to place the artwork in, then why the heck no longer?

at first i was going to answer, because they are convinced they know (have) the truth. On a second thought, it may be fear. from fear comes doubt engendering the need to control everything that is not identical to self (or what we know). This need to control becomes with time as you mentioned an obsession.

Christians aren't obsessed with what you do in bed. They are concerned about the effect it has on society. They are concerned because it is very clear that homosexuality is a sin. They are concerned because they see people that they believe are headed to hell and it breaks their hearts. And while I have many friends and former coworkers who are homosexual, I no longer believe that it is biological. There are too many instances in history where homosexuality (among men) was celebrated. The Romans believed that if the soldiers had homosexual liasions with each other it would make them fight harder for each other. And the media is full of people who seem to go back and forth between the sexes. I give you Anne Heche. But the truth is: any sexual contact between people who aren't married to each other is sin. Unfortunately, there are many sincere christians who forget to hate the sin, not the sinner. And my only problem with a professed homosexual minister is if he or she has a partner. It goes back to the unmarried sex thing. But I urge you to seek these answers from intelligent, practicing christians. Non-christians simply don't have the perspective to really understand the issue from our point of view. I give you the guy who said because "a book told them so." It is far more complicated than that.

I'm Christian, straight and I have gay friends. You generalize when you say Christians. I'm not obessed with what anyne does in bed. It's cool to hear about it if people want to tell me, because I'm sexually active. So to each is own.

I`m a christian, I really don`t concern myself with anyone`s sex life. It`s their choice.I don`t talk about my sex life, so why should I hear about theirs, gay or not?

They get told that it is wrong - and that prompts some of them to want to turn us (toward the light and loving redemption of Our Lord and Saviour...) - others to judge us.
