The permanent members are the United States, United Kingdom, Russia, France, China.

The United States vetos all actions pertaining to Israel. The United Kingdom and France helped dismantle the Ottoman Empire and pave the way for the creation of Israel. Russia pulled out of Afghanistan in shame but Russia also shares a long border with China. China was victimized by the Japanese and by UK colonization and also has the highest point in the world in Mt. Everest (the border with Nepal splits the mountain in half). Just looking for some thoughts.

The question is a more symbolic one rather than the obvious one regarding the 4 countries who were allies in WW II. WW II was fought 62 years ago.

I didn't read any prophecies - I came up with this on my own initiative.

The Ottoman Empire was dismantled in 1923 - 16 years before WW II started and 25 years before the creation of Israel.

Israel keeps talking about sending its US made F-16's to Iran and bombing its facilities. The UN implores peace; The US vetos everything and the UN hasn't stopped Israel from doing what it wants (striking the Osiraq reactors in 1981).

Don't think they represent "books", but the "region/kingdoms" mentioned in the Bible (Revelation; Daniel)

But, who are the other five countries that will make up the 10 Regions (kingdoms)

No. The 5 permanent members Russia, USA, UK, France and China. Came from the Allies who won WW2 and setup UN and China which had and still has the largest population on globe.

The thing with Israel was a apology for the Holocaust being allowed to happen and other countries doing nothing (because Hitler 1st asked other countries to take them or he would deal with the Jews). Not sure but I always thought Ottoman Empire was already gone by time of WW2.

It sounds like you've been reading the work of someone who has figured out the world according Biblical prophecy.

Except he hasn't:

Those five nations were the Allies in World War II, and got together to start the United Nations before the war ended in 1945. They did indeed have a purpose: having fought two world wars in the space of thirty years, they were determined to cancel the next one by starting a world organization with some teeth to it. We'll never know if they were successful, but warfare on that scale has pretty much avoided thus far.

I would say no. Sometimes, 5 is just a number between 4 and 6. In both cases the number is five because there are 5.

I say No. Prophecy is smoke and mirrors at best. I think to say they fit into those foretold predictions is only wishful pondering.
