I hate this hard question....but I love your pick up.

Psych answer--Because the physiological symptoms are so similar. Increased haertrate, cold sweat, shortness of breath...easy for the mind to confuse the two, particularly when there are no clues from the environment (ie a threating situation or a sexual encounter) to explain the changes your body is experiencing.
Real answer--I've never confused love for hatred. Have you? Because i'm of the opinion that its just a lyric in a song, not a real phenomenon.

specific, very super. on account which you enjoyed, you hate much extra. in case you do unlike a individual, eg a stranger, how are you able to hate him a lot??? Hate is borne out of love. in case your busdriver (not your lover) is going and function an affair, will it injury up on your husband having an affair?

Perhaps because they are two of the most pwerful emotions we can muster. We have little control of them and they are interchangeable (with the right stimulus).
