try the patch. It feeds the nicotine craving so all you have to deal with is the habit of putting something in your mouth. Here's how it worked for me, first week, full strength patch. Second week, cut the patch in half, Third week half it again. I quit in 4 weeks this way, mind you I was having trouble breathing when I slept so I WANTED TO QUIT. You have to want it otherwise you'll give in to the habit again.

Hello sir,

I smoked for 10 years so I know what you are going through. You have to just realize that smoking will one day kill you and stop being in denial. Do you have problems with gum disease? Sooner or later yo will loose your teeth if you don't stop smoking. Sooner or later you will die from it if you don't stop smoking.

So that said, I used wellbutrin and if you have not heard of it, it is an antidepressant that has been proven to help people quit smoking. It helps lesson the urge to smoke. I know some people say they are against medications but why not try what is available and proven to help? It's a fight for your quality of life so don't give up! Be mindful of your health and best to you.

Don't worry everyone stops smoking sooner or later. Some just do it wheezing and gasping for breath in a hospital bed.

what in the world does you being a smoker and wanting to quit have to do with the lgbt section? I think that you need to repost your question in the health section.
