About 6 weeks after I had my daughter, I was exhausted and feeling fat. My husband arranged to have my mother watch our daughter for the weekend. He bought a dozen roses, scented candles, and massage oil. He put on some music, lit the candles, put the flowers beside the bed, and gave me a full body massage. The next morning, he served me breakfast in bed. It was MY weekend.

I came home from work one evening to find a candles all over the place, and a trail of rose petals leading to the tub, which was filled with them, and there he was, wearing nothing but a smile...

I sent my girlfriend 48 roses and an edible arrangement for valentine's day. Then I took her out to get lobster at one of our favorite places.

I got a little teddy bear with a necklace; the teddy bear can fit in a pocket and has "I <3 You" written on it.
Before we broke up, I took that thing with me on all of my trips so I could look at it and remember someone was waiting for me at home. :)

i rented a suite in a nice hotel with a hot-tub roses and wine for my girlfriend and myself.
