makeup is designed to sit on the skin, not be absorbed into it + it can't have evaporated, so where has it gone + why does it fade?

it goes in your pores. which is why you must wash your face after wearing makeup.

It usually either gets into your pores, which is why it's good to exfoliate every night, or it gets wiped off from touching your face, eating or itching.

Some people say that you should remove make-up with special make-up remover so that you get it all off, but a good facial cleanser should do the trick. I always have relied on the Neutrogena facial bar after trying so many things. Still works like a charm.

Are you ready? It is absorbed by the skin. The skin is self cleaning. That is why it is good to put a cream on your face b4 applying make-up to slow down the process.

what type of make up are you talking about. Compact and face crap is actually absorbed into your skin . Regardless of what anyone says.. the more make up you wear, the more you break out and stuff because of clogged pores. Lip Stick comes off due to everything you lick your lips or rubb your lips together.. you're practically eating your lip stick...

You sweat it off, you tub it off, sometimes the powder can fall off (i have no other explanation for seeing sparkly granules from my eyeshadow on my pants), you can kiss it off (ok, then it gets on your significant other's face), and the moisture from lip gloss can be absorbed and you can lick the color off.

If it's your eye shadow that's loosing it's intensity then you can solve the problem by putting a little foundation or eye base on your eyelids before the color. Then don't rub your eyes. The color should last the evening no problem

who said it can't be evaperated? it goes into your pore's. You should be able to see this by cleaning with just a wash cloth.
