Rosalyn Franklin discovered DNA and Watson and Crick stole her research and built the model first. Watson and Crick were then given the credit but history now tells us otherwise.

The STRUCTURE of DNA was discovered by Watson, Crick, and Franklin. Franklin died between when W&C published their paper (special thanks to Franklin) and when the Nobel Prizes were announced, so she did not receive a Nobel Prize for her work. Nobel Prizes are not awarded posthumously, or at least they weren't at the time.
