R we better off? or the situation is worse than wt it was in 2002.

I think it is the great failure for Pakistani management.
Bob wolmer didn't suceeded to make a good team in 4 years, he didn't even given us the openers. Whole system of Pakistani cricket was destroyed by management. There is full team of management like manager, trainer, selector, balling coach etc. And they didn't able to look at players. They didn't finished there problems looks like money is important for them, and nation pride is nothing for them.
But despite of all this we should backup our team. Remeber in 1992 the team was as weaker as this one. No saeed anwar, waqar younis was in that team.
We can pray for our team. Inzi should take the responsibility and should lead the team with an example. I hope they will fight and inshallah will win.

With Musharraf in charge of the country, the only goal of Pakistan's cricket team is letting India win because apparently, when India loses a cricket match from Pakistan bilateral relations get tense. Musharraf Government has done every effort to screw up Pakistan's cricket team to give better chances to India in this world cup. Wait for injuries of more Pakistan star cricketers. They are on the way.

well i feel that it all depends on the form of our players... our batsmen will have to really step up and get us those extra 20-30 runs which would have been stopped by akhtar and asif... plus we'll need umar gul to perform out of this world... but you never know Pakistan may surprise everyone...

Actually its upto paksitani efforts apparantly they are not in the position of winning the world cup but still they will do this miracle.
