Tell them you have an appointment. Leave it at that. If your boss pry's further, say it is personal. It will become obvious that you were lying about being sick when you give your two weeks notice. Just tell the truth, but keep it simple.

WEIRD! The exact same thing happened to me about six months ago. For the first interview, I called in sick with a stomach virus but I felt that was too risky since I could’ve been seen out in the town and the next day everybody kept asking me how I was feeling. So for the second interview, I used the excuse that I had an appointment early in the morning (around 10:00 am) with my Gino for my annual. I explain to my female boss that since the whole process (waiting and the actual annual) takes about two to three hours I would like the day off and I also added that I feel too weird coming to work after a pap smear. She totally understood and she gave the day off. I also got the job. I don’t think she ever suspected anything.

all the justifications for God being actual at the instant are not "excuses", they are actual motives. God is actual, he's everywhere and in each and every thing. the only reason you breathe is using the fact God permits you to accomplish that. stream.... all the animals, people, bugs, vegetation and bushes.... all best occasion of the existence of God. Why might we could stay, if not for God? What may well be the component in an in any different case pointless existence? It in basic terms does not make experience. all of us have a purpose and we are all mandatory.

One time I told my job that I was stressed out and I needed a mental health day. I got food poisoning so I called in for that and I sprained my ankle and I called in for that. I also said that I have the runs.

Try this: I'm going to be out on tuesday because you bastages don't pay me enough and you've forced me to take the day off to interview for a more lucrative position at one of your competitors."

Don't they say honesty is the best policy?

Car is broke. Don't be any more specific than it won't start. If asked later what the problem was it was minor of course not requiring an autoshop visit. Something like battery was corroded.

If you have kids...you have an appointment to take the kids to a doctor. Or just say I have a private appointment. It's really none of thier business.
