Actually, I usually wear neither. I usually go for nice jeans or black pants with a simple top. If it's a dressier occasion I would go for a skirt. That way if any party-goers want to get together after the party, all you have to do is change into pants (I keep a pair of jeans in my car at all times--you never know when you will need pants and they have come in handy more than once) and you are good to go.

This would depend on the type of party. If it is a formal party, wear a dress, if not wear a skirt or slacks. Also depends on where the party is.

depends on the theme of the party ask your host i would say a dress if its a nice plac ebut just at home then a skirt will be ok
