huh? well im a conservative. But im not against stem cell research. Im just against federal funding of embryonic stem cell research.
If it was adult stem cell research or cord stem cell research I would be for funding it. embryonic stem cell research has yielding no breakthroughs where the other 2 methods have. So i know it will still happen, but im not going to put my tax payer money behind it.
As for abortion. I dont think it should be illegal. I think more education needs to happen. I know there are circumstances where its right. BUt often its used as a clean up for irresponsibility. Thats what I dont like about it.
But if I was a politician I would leave it alone legislatively.

What is this freezer thing you speak of? I know of no pro-life conservative that could consistently support the thing you describe, do you know of one? Regarding stem cell research, I support stem cell research and Bush is the first president in history to fund stem cell research, but I am against the harvesting of babies to accomplish it. There are other ways.

I am a neoconservative and I am not christian nor do I believe abortion is a bad thing. Stem cell research is one of the most promising technologies of our time, and pretty soon embryos won't even need to be used.
I support neoconservatives 100% as well as bush and the war, but it saddens me that they see these couple of issues so backwards.
