When Napoleon was in Northern Africa, after he had first become a general, he ordered his troops to obey the laws of Islam. And while in Northern Africa they respected the laws and attended the mosques. Until one day when two soldiers chased a dissident into a mosque and disgraced it. See, back then it was not only a place of prayer, but think about it, it was probably the nicest place in town. That one incident caused the Muslims to rise up and drive Napoleon out of Africa.
The thing I am trying to say is that maybe if we learned more about Islam over here and started showing equal respect as a religion we would probably gain some respect from that part of the world and calm things down a bit. That and pulling the troops out.

I don't know about this story but i appreciat your message.yes there should be mutual respect for everyone.....i think this is enough with hatred now.......the world is turning a miserable place to live or have already turned into.....We need a "change" quite opposite to hate and that is love and respect !
