That would imply that their PARENTS had a brain which is the problem in most cases.
PS after reading your answers I still put the onus on parents. Your children should feel SAFE enough to know they are loved and if they made a mistake ought to feel loved enough to come to YOU about it and not run to a clinic and have an abortion for fear of shame and have ridiculous evangelistic babble thrown in their faces from judgemental lots, who would whine one way or the other about how terrible a sinner they are...don't you think this is why kids do this in the first place? Because they know you will judge them? And its you the parents who matter to them...if you believed in them...they'd believe in themselves and likely not make that mistake in the first place.
And you guys...you have no right to talk...it's you who put them in that predicament in the first place, and you are giving way too much credit to a scared young teen who just wants the problem to go away. You've no right to talk as you're not the one stuck with the consequences for the rest of your life.

They do. I'm for freedom of choice, but your argument stinks because it doesn't confront the issue. The issue is: Is an unborn child a human being with all of the rights that entails?
For many, the answer is yes. This makes your question read: If you're against murder, why not just teach your kids that instead of trying to prevent me from murdering? See the problem here?

You can, but, the problem is some states, California included, do not require parental notification for underage abortions.
So, a teen can be whisked away to have the procedure carried out without any knowledge by her parents of the pregnancy itself . Planned Parenthood actually makes it a policy of keeping such abortions secret, effectively usurping parental rights over their children.
Too bad Proposition 85 failed in November. That would have closed the loophole.

well remember half of that baby you want to murder belongs to the father of that child..maybe you should teach baby killers how not to get pregnant in the first place..condoms are use full and there are other measures to prevent pregnancy...wake up your murdering unborn children...do you even have a soul...I am guessing no..

Children learn by example. You don't need to teach them. Don't compromise your beliefs, don't say one thing to them and another thing to the next door neighbor. I have prolife bumper stickers all over my car. When they are old enough to understand, I will sit down with them and explain why it's wrong. I guess that's the point where you let go and hope you raised them right.

I didn't have to teach my child that abortion was wrong. All I had to do was tell him what it was.
But you have an incorrect understanding of what the Constitution says about abortion. You are, of course referring to Roe v. Wade, and that has nothing to do with the Constitution, which is silent about abortion, meaning it is properly a matter of the States (see 10th Amendment).
And as long as I live in this society, I have a right to my opinion about what it should represent. Same as you.

Why not attempt to thwart what's wrong and teach our children WHY it's wrong?
