I wanted to get one too!! But make sure that you go somewhere CLEAN and that everything is sterilized or you might get AIDS...
But you have to be prepared to take care of it, you'll have to put cream or gel on it everyday, and use spray on it to kill germs! For the first 6 months, your skin [belly] will be a bit pink/red depending if your skin is fair.. it may get infections... just be careful!
i just did a nose piercing, it got infected because the jeweller gave me fake gold or gold mixed with other metals! [i'm allergic to anything that's not gold or silver]

I definitely would not recommend it. Looks good, but a false one looks the same (without the piercing)
Trouble is it can cause some severe infection probles which could leave you sterile, because of what the belly is the end of so to speak.
Why dont you buy a clip on and see if anyone notices the differences.

Why do you want to get it peirced? is the question you should ask your self. If it is to fit in with everyone else, cuz your friends are doing it, or because your just not cool without one then your answer should be no. If you want to do it because a big infected hole looks nice, or because you like being poked with needles then your answer should still be no. I got mine done when I was 17 and there is nothing great about it really except for this lovely scar I have. Be beatiful without doing this to your body, trust me

Depends on what you call pain...it feels like a needled going thru ur skin (not trying to sound smart) and the "pain" is real short. and there is only pain when pressure is applied to it.you have to keep it clean or it will get infected and you ill have puss coming out of it :-\ but after a good six months you should be good.

I,ve just had mine done for the second time, I love it. Getting my nose pierced hurt more, I didn,t feel a thing with my tummy button. Go for it if you don,t like it you can always take it out, A

if you want to but if your having to ask then no.
it does not hurt too bad just sore for a few days afterwards, so make sure you wear loose or low fitting clothes for a bit to stop it rubbing

i watched mine get done and it doesnt hurt. i didnt think so anyways but i have a very high tolerance for pain. if you do alot of bending for work you might think about covering it while at work. i didnt and it got caught a few times.
