Hi friends,iam a professional course student.i have stammering which is badly affecting my career?

Hi friends,iam a professional college student.i have stammering which is badly affecting my life very badly

can anybody help me to find a cure for this.i would be very thankful.if possible u can tell me some experiences about urself or anybody u have heard about.

I believe this is basically caused by fear of failure.

You must accept yourself as you are first, before you can effectively initiate a cure.

You are unique, special, and worthy of all good things, whether you stop stammering or not. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Your body has built into it already everything you need to break this pattern.

Expectation is a key. Expect your body to take care of this unwanted speech pattern, as you work on just being yourself--a person of great value.

Don't focus on this undesirable behavior, but rather focus on the things you really like about yourself.

Focus on others and ways in which to encourage them.

Believe that this will fade out in time, as you apply yourself to much more meaningful activities.

If you continue to focus on the stammering, especially fearing what others think about you, as you do this, you will not be able to stop.

But, if you so some things to bring about calmness and relaxation in your life and work on your focus, the stammering will gradually fade away!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I come from a family of stutterers. My uncles and cousins got help overcoming their stuttering by using a book from The Stuttering Foundation titled "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" but all of them said that it took practice, practice, practice. Check out the web site at www.stutteringhelp.org
