Himself. Giuliani is arrogant, bigoted, ill tempered and a womanizer. He divorced his 2nd wife, Donna Hanover, by announcing it at a press conference instead of telling her first. He was having an affair with an aide while living at Gracie Mansion & while still married and mayor of NY and he took credit for all the good things that were done by others in NYC. He fired William Bratton; the police commissioner in 1994 when he found out he made the cover of Time magazine because he (Giuliani) wanted to take the credit for the innovative crime fighting. I lived in NY during his dictatorship, and believe me, I would not want him as president. His character is far worse than Bush & Clinton's worse faults rolled into one, if you can believe that's possible. His name should be Mussoliani.

As for 9/11…. he’s no hero, he just happened to be in the right place at the right time. The real heroes of 9/11 were the NYC firefighters & police plus all the other forces from the surrounding tri-state areas who voluntarily came to pitch in & help us.”

he is seen as a hero after 9/11, but in reality he is no hero. He is way too power-hungry and will stop at nothing to get power. He fired a police officer for getting on the cover of Time Magazine instead of Rudy being on it. I believe that the only thing Rudy is fit to control is the mafia. We are in serious trouble if he is elected president. Yes, I know that is an overused line, but I believe that Guiliani is a much bigger threat than any other presidential nominee.
Time has come for America to need another Hero. We need another FDR. We need another Eisenhower. We need another Theodore Roosevelt1 We don't need a McCarthy or Al Capone! Today's presidential nominees aren't sufficient enough to save our nation from its self-induced downfall. But perhaps Obama is the closest to economic recovery, stability, and independence. Let us pray for a miracle!

In answer to the 2nd part of you're question, I'm still undecided on the next presidential election. Mayor Guiliani's problem, to me, is contradictory stands on the issues of abortion and gay marriage. He was a supporter of both in the past. That is not in line with mainstream Republican ideals. Therefore, I need to know if he has changed his position on those issues. If he has changed his position, I'd like to know why. I actually do not mind if a politician changes his mind, as long as he didn't do so solely to get elected. His past views are quite liberal for a Republican. I notice on some of the conservative blogs that he is criticized for the divorces and his extra-marital affairs. I'm not particularly interested in his personal life, but that will present some problems for him with others.

This is so hilarious. Rudy Guiliani is a person who has cheated on his wife. I can see the Clinton style jokes coming very soon.

He's basically a social liberal and a foreign policy conservative.

He's liked for cleaning up New York city and for being hard on crime. He's also pro-choice and a moderate New York liberal.

Despite being pro-choice, he recently made a statement that, if elected president, he would nominate to the Supreme Court judges who would work to overturn Roe vs. Wade.

I like a lot of his ideas so I'm going to vote for him. Most of the other candidates are either too far left (the entire Democratic slate except Hillary), crooked (that's where Hillary comes in) or too far right.
