i don't know why she didn't cut her whole head off while she was at it...she could have saved herself (and us who have to witness her stupidities) a lot of pain...

I agree with some of the other posts--it looks hideous now, but I think her hair will look cute in a few months when she's got a cute boyish hair style going on. She definitely should cut back on the eyeliner and mascara as another answerer said. If I were her stylist, I'd tell her to get a facial and do nothing but rest in her house for a month. She looks so haggard lately. Even before she shaved her head when she was out partying with Paris, she looked like she'd been around the block a few too many times. If I were in her shoes, I'd recover in the privacy of my own home for as long as it took to get things back together with my family and personal problems, then I'd make a come back looking better than ever and I'd never be seen in public looking nasty again. But that's just me ;)
It's a little selfish of us to be so scrutinizing of Britney, it's true, but the drama she's always kicking up is so much more entertaining than being stuck at work :) ha ha!

The same thing I thought about it when the other 786 people on here posted the exact same question. So she shaved her head, big deal. The big question is about her kids and her health. The big music machine plucked some young girl out of obscurity and made her a household sensation practically overnight. Her face and voice were everywhere, she toured, she pumped out albums, she made appearances, commercials, movies. Even when she's trying to enjoy a private moment in her hometown, she's hounded by people outside her house, outside her car. Waiting outside the store. My question is, wouldn't that make YOU do some crazy stuff? She's obviously lost, turned to substances for comfort, has no idea who she is anymore or how things escalated to this point. She was a normal girl one day, and before she knew it, everyone in the world was talking about her, reading about her in the Enquirer, US Weekly, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Spin, etc. etc. etc. It's extremely unfortunate for her, that "big music daddy" cashed in on her, exploited her until she snapped. That could be ANYONE. And you wanna know about her hair? THAT'S the question on your mind? Maybe it should be: How are her children? How is she doing? Why do we continue to do this to people who become celebrities? I don't even care for her music, I just think it's a sad, all too typical "Hollywood success story gone bad." And don't worry, her damn hair started growing the second it was cut. That's what's fun about hair. It always comes back. Gawd.

I never really liked her anyway. I think the "no hair" is not a good look for her. I guess it depends on why she did it. If she really is that crazy and just went off then that's really bad! If she it was a way for her to "start over" then still bad but whatever. I just feel bad for the kids. No doubt they have all the material things they need but they need the emotional things too. Like loving SANE parents!

Maybe what she really wanted was a fresh start and in some weird way maybe it all starts with a fresh head of hair!
She really does have a pretty face. Her new hair cut is not pretty but it's not fugly either. It's a new look nowadays I suppose, look at Sinead O'Connor and Natalie Portman

She does have a really pretty face, so it would probably look really cute once it grows out a little and is shaped into a wispy pixie cut. I doubt she was making a fashion statement- likely she was in turmoil for whatever reason and took a drastic step.

It doesn't look like the coolest hairstyle, but I was so happy to see that when she did that..it's just that none of those ******* pussy celebs have done anything some what interesting in forever. i mean she is th eonly one besides Erica Badu to shave her hair off......i always thought of her has very materialistic, and I myself, not a very materialistic person, and I could never come to shaving my hair off......proud of her, to let go of her pop princess, into someday a rock n roll queen

I think she did what she had to and I also think that all of you people should just leave her and other celebs alone let them live their lives without being constantly talked about. How would you feel if you were having problems and never got privacy? I would hate it. Anyone who can't give another person privacy should have shame and think how would they feel in this situation.
