Ok, I need to vent about this..because it annoys me...

1st off I think anyone who wants to get married should be able to get married. IF they LOVE each other enough to spend the rest of their lives with them..Y can't they get married! Hell it's not like it is hurting anyone!
Marrage should be between 2 people that love each other...and it would be better than most marrages between a male and female because most of them don't even love each other that deeply..Heck look at the US's divorce rate!

2nd. I think that if you are unable to have children of your own and if you want a child then you should be able to raise one! What the hell is the problem with growing up with 2 moms..or 2 dads? At least the child will be loved and taken care of! Unlike most good for nothing moms and dads out there who treat there children like trash and abuse them! There are so many children that need a good home and just because you aren't with someone from another gender it is

considered bad to want to raise a child..what is up with that?....I know that alot of gay people can't adopt a child because of the fact that they are gay and the system thinks that it would lead to the child being unstable. Well I have something to tell them. ALL A CHILD WANTS IS TO BE LOVED YOU IDIOTS!

I think that our "system" needs to grow up and realize that this is a new century and not 100years ago.

Who else agrees with me on this. Even though I am in a heterosexual marrage I still don't think this is fair. Here politicans are screaming pro life in our eyes at every given moment..They won't even let a baby have a chance to be raised by a couple that will love them.
I think that it is hypocritalical and that they need to be slapped a few good times. At least with parents the child won't have to grow up bouncing from home to home and thinking that is the way life should be..because it's not...

My aunt is gay and she is unable to have children do to lower region issues. Her partner/significant other is a mom but her chid/ren are grown up. There are so many babies that deserve a good home and yet..right here there is one but they can't raise one because of the stupid "system" my aunt will never get to have the pleasure of being a mommy to some one and it irrates me.
She would have been a great mom and she has always been great to me and I love her to death. She is one of the greatest people I have ever know in my entire life. So why shouldn't she be able to marry her girlfriend? why shouldn't her and her girlfriend be able to adobt a baby that so badly needs parents, love, care, and a good home?

It's just not right if you ask me..It's taking away from the children and it's stupid and ignorant.

I know! There is no complete right and no complete wrong.. Because simply there can't be. Everybody has there own opinion on what is right and wrong..And if you try to force your opinion on everyone it's no longer your opinion but your belief...

People shouldn't have to conform to everyone elses standards just to get by in life. There are more important issues to worry about in life than wither or not gay people should get married, or raise children. The more important issues are for instance..murderers, theives, rapists, drug dealers and drug addicts. There are more important factors in life for the goverment to sit there and be worring about weither or not gays have the right to get married or adobt children....

and instead of worrying about what they should do about gays wanting to get married or adobt children they shoud out be out there fighting all the bad things in life in which I mentioned above.

I'm sry but I don't believe in the bible for many reasons. All I can say is that I do not put my trust, or faith for that matter. Into a book that was written thousands of years ago...that has been through thousands of translations and that was written by people like me and you.

I believe what is in my heart and this goes against all of the things that I call my morals and values.

The bible contradicts itself way to much.. Like it says "thou shall not kill" but it also says an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. So according to the bible you can kill people as long as the person you are killing is in the name of revenge.

The bible also states that we all came from just 2 people. Adam and Eve..Now if that was true..can you explain to me how it is that incest is a sin yet we all came from just 2 people. If that isn't enough for you it mentions it later on with noahs ark..In which the only humans surviving were noah and his family.

Ok, so some of you are telling me that gay people just want to feel "ok" about sleeping with someone of the same gender...And that being gay is the same thing as Killing and murdering someone.

As I have stated before my aunt is gay and I do NOT believe she is SINNING in any form. She completely and entirely LOVES the woman she is with and the wome LOVES her the same way.

How dare you sit there and say it is because she was weak and just wanted to have sex with another woman. The only thing I can say to that is that you have no idea what you are talking about.

and to those of you who believe in the bible should read my above posting. For to believe in something means you have to wholly believe in it..and can you absolutely beyond no doubt in your mind tell me that revenge is ok and that incest is alright..because in the bible apparently it's right there in PLAIN ENGLISH! that we are all incest and that killing someone for the sake of revenge is A OK

As for Gay adoptions:
Would you rather these children grow up with bad parents? Or worse, in group homes or homeless? This is one thing about the Human race I will never understand as long as I live.

Love conquers all... EXCEPT a biggoted government system.

You're preaching to the choir here, Roe, but then you know that. Yeah, dead on right!

And I'd add one other rant: the self-righteous hypocrites that insist on imposing a Catch 22: "You can't ever have sex with anyone, because having sex outside of marriage is adultery, but you can't ever get married, so therefore you should be content to be celibate (while I, of course, merely because I'm straight, can marry the one I love and have all the sex I want)." That one was just posted here yesterday, by the way.

Your aunt (or anyone else for that matter) should definitely be able to marry and adopt as many children as she and her partner can reasonably afford to raise - they can be exhausting emotionally and financially!! That's my "secular" view.

As for the teachings of the Church, she and her partner cannot "marry" as the Biblical definition is clear: man and woman only. What the church considers sinful cannot be celebrated by a sacrament. The Bible actually never mentions "eros" (sexal) love as a requirement for marriage. "Agape" (selfless) love is mentioned: a woman shall submit to her husband and the husband shall love his wife AS CHRIST LOVED THE CHURCH. This is mutual submission and can be accomplished only by God's grace.

I agree with with you!
What good is a society with a sense of right and wrong? That is so cliche nowadays. I mean hellooooooooo!
Get with the times society...everything is acceptable now. Even raising kids...why not do what you want?
The well being of the kid comes second to my ego and selfserving desires.
Rome was in the same situation...during it's decline as a civilization.
Those with ears let them hear!

No need to vent... to answer the question why can't gays have the same pleasures as the rest of us? Well, aren't they?

As to the rest... they're better vented off in a blog.

The Bible says in plain English…..no man shall lay with another nor with a beast. Flat up meaning no gay or animal sex.

We all have a weakness…and that weakness is our test by God. Some are weak to food, others to drugs, some to porn, others might be for the opposite sex, others for animals, etc. Each of us has one…..and we are tested for it.

Some in my family are porn addicts, just can’t get enough. That is their weakness. With Gay’s, that is there weakness.

So to accept Jesus and his works and words…he will help you with this weakness.

You are born “gay” as we call it cause society has labeled your weakness. A sin is a sin is a sin to God. Whether you sleep with the same sex or tell a lie…man is who put rankings on such items. A lie and murder are the same to God.

But the important thing is to have Jesus, for he will save you if you ask. Sure you might slip again, and sin from time to time, for that is human. But from finding him, he will help turn you from this weakness so its not so tempting. But to ask for him then blatantly go back to being “gay”, he won’t accept that, for he knows you didn’t try.

Like any hurdle we have for work….we work towards a goal to achieve it. The work of God and Jesus is a hurdle we are fighting for life, a short life…..for the next life is forever.

The homosexual thing is about sex, not love. Men can live together and love each other without anything special already. They want it to be O.K. to have sex with each other and that's just disordered.
