I have the old version of itunes on my computer. I want to install the newer version. If I delete the older version will all my music disappear?

highlight all ur music and drag it to ur "my music file" make sure its all saved there. (just incase) then go to apple.com and download the new version. even so i bet that all ur old music is gonna continue to be there!! and ul have the new version aswell. goodluck!

Why would you want to delete the old one? It's not necessary. Just go to itunes and install the newer version. It will just update the version that you have.

Updating the iTunes software does not erase your music. I have done this many times. Don't delete the iTunes software, just go to apple.com and download it there. If you are still afraid of losing your music, back it up.
