I am female but I am anti-feminism. I think it was a great cause in the past, but I think we have equal rights now. I think the current feminists are focusing on the wrong things. I think genders are different and we need to embrace our differences, not try to make us all the same. Funny that I think that because I am not a feminine girl, but I just do what makes me comfortable. And I think all men and women should do that without fear of being looked down on.

When I think of feminism, I think of the great dis-service they have done for women. They have equated marriage with prostitution, men as evil beings, and shame women who wish to stay at home and raise their children. They disdain anything feminine or masculine. They wish to see the world as all beings biologicaly and mentally equal.
Men and women are different for a reason and we should embrace and respect our differences that truly make us men and women.

Feminism is believing that men and women should have equal rights, get paid the same for equal work, stuff like that.
I am a college student in a Catholic woman's college, and that is how we define feminism. (However, I am not a Catholic.)

Ignore him, he's an ignorant prick (1st and 3rd answer).
Feminism means to believe in equal rights for women. There are many forms of feminism which I unfortunately, do not know too much about, but the underlying principle is equal rights for women.
Unfortunately, there are many people who believe feminism means being against men..but that is not true. And no, if you look at wages and the potrayal of women in the media, as well as the human rights issues women face in other parts of the world..it aint equal.

Feminists are women (or effeminate men) who think women deserve to enjoy the same ammount of rights as men without the burdon of having the same responsibiities, and they have the nerve to say at the same time that they want "equal" treatment.
