i am a lvl 18 troll hunter i have a pet tigar is there a better pet if so tell me what and were it is at

well to me all the pets are about the same. some pets do more damage, some can take a beating. but to me what is more important is the spells that you can learn for different pets. like prowl, claw, bite, etc.

Get a raptor from Durotar, if you like damage. If you're looking for a tank-type then go to Ashenvale and get a bear.

Get a turtle, they are super tanks and deal damage well too.
