No, not necessarily. I think there are certain mitigating factors that could allow for trust to be rebuilt over time. If the trust was broken out of good intentions, it might be rebuilt. If it was betrayed with a cold heart, then it cannot be rebuilt.

Yes for a new relationship and yes but it would take longer to rekindle the trust with the guy that lost my trust.

Depends on the severity of the situation and the betrayal. If it is life detrimental then I say no. But it also depends on the person and their relationship to you. Also take into consideration if that person(s) has ever done this in the past.
