I think that I am going to get a DS with one or two games. What games should I get?

only 2 games? well I would recomend metroid prime hunters and diddy kong racing ds. or you could replace diddy kong racing with mario kart ds. all of those are online and the best online games in my opinion. but I would prefer diddy kong racing becuase you can play with 6 people online only 4 in mario kart

The DS has soooooo many awesome games and most of the games are very original because of the originality of the DS. I bought my DS last year about this time. Since then I have been constantly entertained. I love my DS more then any other game system because of it's portability, wifi, and the best games ever.

Here are a list of Amazon's top 10 DS games

Diddy Kong Racing
Brain Age
New Super Mario Bros.
Mario Kart DS
Pokemon: Diamond (pre-order)
Big Brain Academy
Nintendogs: Lab and Friends
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Cooking Mama
Pokemon: Pearl (pre-order)

But my personal favorites are...no paticular order.
1. Clubhouse Games (40+ board games all playable online)
2. Trauma Center (Surgery game, the stylus is your scalpel)
3. Phoenix Wright ( Court room defense attorney game)
4. Tetris DS (Just tetris but the Wifi makes it amazing)
5. Mario Kart ( So much fun especially with a group of friends who have DS's)
6. Warioware Touched - (This is really fun but you'll beat it quick.)
7. Elite Beat Agents ( My all time favorite DS game )
8. Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan (Japanese Version of Elite Beat Agents. Do not miss this one www.play-asia.com )

Here are a few I you must play. But aren't the best best.
Brain Age
Animal Crossing
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Advance Wars Duel Strike

I wish I could play these game for the first time all over again. You are going to have so much fun.

To start out, get Yu-Gi-Oh GX Spirit Caller (only if you are familiar with the card game), and Final Fantasy III. Later, get these great games: Harvest Moon DS ( maybe you should get this first because it is becoming so rare), Tony Hawk's American Sk8land, Animal Crossing (this is a good start-out game too), Brain Age, Big Brain Academy, and never ever get Burnout Legends or Nanostray.

Definitely Brain Age. Awesome game.

Other good ones are Mario 64 DS, and Mario Kart. Also the original (remastered) Super Mario Bros. just came out, looks good.

MarioKart DS
