Caption w/the picture states is it a recreation.

The National Enquirer ran a photo recreation of Anna Nicole Smith dead this week. They ran it under the headline “ANNA NICOLE: THE LAST PHOTO!” from witness accounts of her body.

Enquirer EIC David Perel said, “If you had our images side-by-side with the actual photos, I don’t know if you’d be able to tell them apart.”

All-time low or genius? I’m not sure, but now I’m officially creeped out.

Did you bother to read the captions? It said it's a National Enquirer recreation. I agree it's morbid, but pictures are taken of dead people. The morbid part is on the National Enquirer for recreating the photo. However, photos are taken of deceased people all the time by investigators, morticians, etc. etc. etc. This is not a real photo though, and reading the caption would have told you that.

It's not a real photo. It states in the caption that the Enquirer "ran a photo recreation" of Anna Nicole Smith. "Enquirer EIC David Perel said, 'If you had our images side-by-side with the actual photos, I don't know if you'd be able to tell them apart.'"

It could be, it does look like her deceased body, who ever took it got a lot of $$ for that one picture. After all the law suits are done the lawyer will find if and sue the person for leaking it to the press. People are sick what can we do about it.

I don't even want to look, why would anyone? If the pics are real, don't turn her death into a freak show. How would anyone like strangers gawping at photos of their deceased relatives?

Come on, that photo is nothing. Of course it's not real. Plus atleast it is just her face showing. It's nothing compared to the crime scene photos I've seen.

I heard Howard K. Stern sold her deceased photographs... so it may be real.

It's a recreation. And artistic (depending on your viewpoint) of what she could have conceivably looked like when she died.
