The way on Yahoo! Answers when voting for best answers that people just click on the answer that is first on the list in order to gain their precious one point. I myself am very thorough and meticulous when choosing a best answer and read every comment. Am I the only one who feels this way??
Also whoever answers first make sure it a good answer so you actually deserve to receive BEST answer!!!

I know that you get 3 points for resolving your own questions but I am talking about when the question goes into voting!!! Just to clear that up.

Yes i agree. It annoys me especially when i wrote an essay and someone who said 'yes' first gets the ten points. I do take time to read through the questions and i rarely vote if ever. You are not alone.. I want a best answer because i deserve it, not because i was the first one that answered that question because i was or because my internet connection was faster then others.

I always go through the answers before i vote
sometimes i give the first answer my vote because the rest of the answers were the same so it should be the best answer

You are correct.It would be interesting to know how many first answers get best answers.
First answers are not always the correct ones, and it seems a blatant miscarriage of justice when they are voted, when it is obvious that the answer is wrong .

I feel the same way you do. I read every single comment and I choose the one I feel deserves the points for being the best answer. I guess not everybody is like us.

I agree. I figure if someone is going to take the time to answer my questions, I'm certainly going to take the time to read them all and figure out who's is the best. Besides, the best answer usually isn't first, I've noticed. People browse others answers to come up with their own original answers and those are the ones I look for.

No i look .. Which i also do when selecting a best answer. I don't automatically pick somebody i know just because . They have to @least give a good answer !

Yes, you´re right..Some people just answer or vote ´cause they wanna get the points. It´s a dishonest attitude, ´cause some people who shouldn´t get points end up getting them while others who give really good answers end up with nothing at all
