I grew up loving video games. I loved Atari and my favorite game was Pac-Man. After that, came the Nintendo. Even though the Sega Entertainment System came next, nothing beat having a Nintendo! Then, they moved on to Sega Genesis. But the question i want to pose to all of America is: What is the best Old School Video Game ever? Pac-Man is a bona-fide classic, but i loved games such as Super Mario Bros. and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out for Nintendo while Sonic The Hedgehog I, II, and III get much props from me! Were you ever hooked on the music being played in the game? Does it ever stick in your head? I liked the music for Sonic I, II, and III (Sonic III had the best music to me). I liked Double Dragon for Sega Genesis and Nintendo and I liked Streets of Rage 2 for Sega Genesis. And i liked Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I, II, and III. TMNT 2 had the best music out of all three! All in all, my generation had the best games and the best of everything and there was nothing like it! Do u agree?

I had owned alot of game systems in my time. I am one of the suckers that bought all of segas products, even the sega cd.

But for my gaming favorites, first it is rush n attack, that game for some reason is addicting.

Then i am a dk jr fan and then space ace. I spent a pretty penny trying to get that damn game to work.

i grew up with Suuper Mario 64 and Starfox for the Nintendo 64. those were some of the best games ever, but with Wii, X-box 360 and PS3 out nowadays, it's dificult to enjoy the classicalness of old games with the high-def graphics out now.

i disagree. i did feel the same way you did though, and not to long ago. i thought nes games were the best. but now that i am older, and i downloaded them onto the wii, they seem kind of lame. i used to think kid icarus was the greatest game ever when i was a kid, now when i play it i think what the hell was i thinking. so i no longer download old nes games. i dont want to tarnish the good memory i have of all of them. for the time, they were amazing, but todays games and graphics emerse you in a totally simulated world.

Pac-Man is a great classic arcade game. If I had to pick one, thats mine.

Most games are tied to their platforms, and each platform has one killer game. The Amiga had Cannon Fodder, Gamecube has Pikmin.
