I know this may sound obvious, but Amazon, the French site will have more of a choice. plus you could try on Abe books website. They have millions. I suppose if you have any really good old bookshops they might have some. But in this day and age the internet is your best bet.

French literature books are available in their masses and really cheaply online, amazon.co.uk for example. If you would prefer to buy from a shop, you should go into a big store, Waterstones for example, and ask about ordering them in. If there are any University campuses near you, then there will undoubtedly be an academic bookshop as well, which will more than likely stock French language books.

I used to buy French books from the European Bookshop in a little street called Warwick Street, just off Regent Street and Glasshouse Street, W1. Or go to the Lycee Francais in South Kensington.

I wa in Paris on holiday last year and there were some great ones there. I think all of France would probably be good. Hope this is helpful.
