Standard practice means a woman should have been trying to conceive for 3 years before any investigation takes place.

The NICE guidelines state that IVF should be offered to women ages 23 - 39.

I cannot find any guidelines for the use of clomid, but I expected it will only be used in the standard age range of 23 - 39. It is dependant on your doctor, they will arrange tests if they feel it is necessary, and I've known women as young as 17 to be tested when they are having trouble conceiving.

I would have to say at least being of legal age 18+....
If you are under 18 probably even 18 the doctor would look at you funny wondering why someone so young would want to get pregnant...
