Who can tell? Stranger things have happened. By the way, Jesus was not a common name at the time. In fact, it wasn't a name at all....at least not for Jews. Jesus' real name was Joshua (pronounced Yashua). Jesus comes from the Greek which early Christians used to name its followers. Paul was Saul and Mary was Miriam. Let's get our historical facts correct.
If the grave read Jesus then the whole thing is a hoax because Jesus and his family never knew that name. If the grave was marked "Joshua ben Yosef" then it could have been very authentic.
