If you review your own question, you'll see that Democrats don't consciously want to destroy America, but their thinking is so muddled that the results of their (normally well-intentioned) efforts are often abysmal.
Yes, Clinton got hoodwinked. Why didn't he remember Ronald Reagan's famous adage, "Trust, but verify"?
Liberals live in a fantasy world in which our generosity, patience, and goodwill translates into actual gratitude and improved relations with hostile countries. In almost every instance, the opposite has been the case. The leaders in these foreign country cannot believe how naive we are. They mistake our charitable nature for weakness.
This has always been the case, and it doesn't apply solely to us. It is said that Stalin was practically laughing his @ss off at the gullible, naive English who, as a sign of friendship and good faith, gave them all the access to the technology they needed to make advanced fighter jets and missiles. Stalin thought the English were the dumbest people on two legs. He didn't for one minute consider that they were showing great magnaminity. He didn't want their friendship. He wanted power, and they naively gave it two him.
Now we have a similar situation in Iran as with North Korea. Iran is more delicate, because if we attack their nuclear stations, the whole region is going to vow retaliation. It's like a symbol of national pride to less developed societies (would I get a slap on the wrist from the Yahoo! police if I used the word "primitive"?)
So, let's hope we remember not only Reagan's words, but how he manipulated the Soviets. We have a lot of manipulating to do!

Hmmmm. I don't know about that. I think that the current situation around the world goes a lot farther back than that... try a few centuries ago?!! Ever hear of the Crusades? Or, could it even go back farther, maybe thousands of years ago? In fact, it seems that the winners of every war that has ever been waged have proclaimed that it was their own god (gods, and/or goddesses) who helped them to win. The truth is, history is written by the winners of wars, and Democrats are a relatively new arrival on the world stage.
As for destroying America, that depends on what your definition of what "America" consists of. Are you a Puritan who wants to enforce your own values on every other American (and the rest of the world)? If so, then I guess Democrats are destroying America.
How about we just learn to mind our own business and stop trying to be the moral compass for the entire world? Since we've never once tried that tactic, how about we give it a whirl, and see how that works out for us?

North Korea has been an issue since the 50's...trying to blame the problem on Clinton is like trying to give Bush credit for the Nation balancing the budget (Clinton was the 1st President to do that since another Democrat, Lyndon Johnson). If I may correct you, it is the Republicans that are trying to take away your freedoms and create a Fascist Police State under a Corporate Oligarcy.

Things they do can make you wonder can't they!? Maybe they truly think it is the policy(s) that will return them to a vast majority in power like they held for about 40 years. Or maybe it is the leadership really thinking that a one world government is a good thing and will work. I don't know, but they don't get my support.

...and then Bush got into office. Everything was going pretty well except that some people didn't like what was going on in North Korea. So logically we invaded Iraq.
Then we started providing munitions and money to secular groups inside Iran that want to overthrow their government. This is the exact same thing we did in the 1980s in Afghanistan under Ronald Reagan, and this gave birth to a group called Al-Qaeda.
You can't honestly say "OH CLINTON ****** UP NORTH KOREA THIS IS ALL HIS FAULT" and not realize the hypocrisy. What has BUSH done about it?

They don't. They just see the whole thing differently than the Repubs.
Doesn't make one side absolutly right or wrong. The middle ground is probably closer to the truth.

It's in their nature. They want America to become a Socialist country. That way Government could take care of us all. Wouldn't that be wonderful???? From cradle to grave, the government takes care of you. I'd rather not be born.

If someone doesn't like the Democratic strategy, why don't the neocons go join the military and show us how to do it.
