that has the same patterns worked in different types of yarn? I have seen books like this for knitting and think it is a great idea! I love to experiment with different yarns but can't find anything for crochet.

I have, of course, already tried my library. I am also quite aware that craft stores have books and magazines. I have checked those; that's how I know to look for this book. I am looking specifically for a book that has the same pattern listed several times with different weights and styles of yarn.

Oh my come to my house I'll loan you some LOL I've been crocheting for years and years. I'll even teach you one of my own patterns - which lots are making around here.

Well now to answer your question. eBay has lots of books, you might try there, they even have different yarns, some are homemade and very beautiful - have to buy in hanks.

Another source would be Lion Brands - I suggest them because they have different types of yarn and they have lots of patterns, some are free.

I'm sure you've done all the google searching so I'll skip that part.

Best of luck.

Every large craft store has a large array of crochet books and magazines available that have patterns for all different weight of yarns.

Search on Amazon.com. I have one that is called "The Harmony Guide to Crocheting". All stiches. Michaels/Hobby Lobby usually also has a selection of crochet books next to the yarns.

Knit 5; pearl 4 or regardless of. Oh, and Jack you're a lot extra appropriate searching than Mikey. the genuine answer is unquestionably sheepskin. you take advantage of sheepskin as a Harley seat cover no longer some gruesome crochet progression.

I use my pattern books and do my own thing. I mix yarns in afghans. Some of my grand kids sweaters I use the same color in thicker yarn for sleeves and lighter for the body. Sometimes I use two weights together holding them together through the project. motherbug415@yahoo
