i am in the middle of my cycle and have had brownish discharge only when i wipe with mild cramps thought it was going to be an early period, but didnt show, any one ever had this or any ideas most welcome.

If you have been trying to conceive and have past ovulation then the spotting could be implantation bleeding. I dont want to get your hopes too high, but this bleeding occurs when the fertilised egg implants in the uterus. The bleeding is usually light & scanty and pinky or brownish & exactly of the amount you describe above. Hope you get the result you want!

I too am spotting in mid cycle.....I just ended my period on the 19th of Feb and now I have been spotting for about 3 days....but Im due for my period until March 17th......totally confused!! I am takin Metformin to help me ovulate. Anyways....but I understand your position....I wish I knew the answer...because I need it for myself as well. But know that you are NOT alone....I have these exact symptoms!!

yes i had this for about four months last year. Ended up having scans, internals and blood test and they could not find a cause. Also there was no infection. So they were baffled as to why it was occuring. I put it down to my age. Was 38.
all okay now. They eventually put it down to pelvic inflammation.
if i were you it would be worth seeing your doctor for him to screen you for any infection. also are you having regular smears?
