He likes basketball and football videogames. Can you tell me the newest one out so I can buy it for him? I don't want to get anything old, I don't know which one's he's already got. Any ideas for good games for a guy who likes video games?

Get CRACKDOWN. It is an awesome game and try to get the one with the invitation to play Halo 3 Beta. Your BF will love you forever if you get him the invite to Halo 3 Beta. I got my game the first day it came out but to be safe, I reserved a copy.

Madden 2007... if he likes first person shooter games (like world war 2 games) try gears of war

For a basketball game i would get him NBA 2k7 or College hoops 2k7.
If he enjoys baseball games i would get him Mlb 2k7.
I probably wouldnt get him a football game since its not football season.

borderlands,borderlands 2, the two fallout's are particularly relaxing borderlands is kinda like comic strip snap shots with a great number of weapons armor stuff like that borderlands 2 comes out tues!!
