My NTL service has been taken over by Virgin Media. Sky have pulled out of the deal which means I now lose Lost and 24 (there are other shows too that many others enjoy).

Virgin have put up a message on what used to be Sky 2 saying that Sky have 'picked up their ball and gone home' (their words) because they want to force viewers to change services. But, all I know for sure is that I've lost Lost! I get no money back and no say.

What do you think?

Personally I am as furious as you. My husband is now in the process of cancelling "Virgin Media" and going with SKY. As well as Lost and 24, my total favourite "The SIMPSON'S" have gone. Worst of all.... this all happened overnight. We didn't even get a letter notifying us of the changes. It's a real shame!!!

Well I dont know about you, but i too am a telewest (now virgin) customer, and they didnt even have the decency to write to me about what was happening. However, Im lucky in that I never really watched sky 1, and for some reason I never had sky2, but i did sometimes watch sky sports news and sky news. I think, therefore, that because of their bad manners in not keeping their customers up to date with what was going on, then Virgin are the baddies.I personally, got most of my info about what was going on on this site.

Virgin should of checked out all theese possible outcomes before trying to line Bransons pocket a bit more, and possible new customers should not of been misleaded. Sky are well within their rights it's their service they get to choose what happens with it. If someone opened a business to rival yours would you give them your products cheap,i think not.
