its locked... i put my sim in it and it didn't call out or anything? how do i unlock it?

only if it is unlocked and even then alot of the features will not work because if the phone is unlocked then it is not strictly for tmobile or cingular

Probably not unless you order a new SIM card from the company. This be since the Zip codes be set up to permanent and they don't like to switch the zip. If zips not an issue then I'm not sure. Try asking the company from anew one as many times SIM cards are free and shipped in a few days.

You could if the phone is 'unlocked', meaning its not registered strictly to T-Mobile.
