If she is even pregnant, then a DNA test is ok. But please, wait till the baby is born. While they can do a DNA test in utero, it does pose a risk to the baby. Your curiosity can wait. Does your son want a DNA test? Does he suspect infidelity. Think really hard before you cross this bridge. Do you want to alienate your son and possible grandchild to satisfy your thoughts? You'd be surprised but he sounds like he wants to "do the right thing" and may take offense to you "attacking" the mother of his child. Just a thought. Best of luck to you.

A DNA test is the only way that he will know if he is the father for sure. But remember, if your son is the father, you all have to be supportive of this girl. that baby could be your grand baby. If not and your son really loves her, he still can be a support to her.

I agree with Nicole. My bet is that she isn't even pregnant. Offer to buy a test, have her take it and have your son check it. You really cant make her show you but she should show him. If it does turn out positive then I'd ask for a DNA test. Your son should step up if it's his but if not then the "real" dad has a right to know he has a kid.

It is not wrong to ask for a DNA test as long as you talk to your son about it first. If you are seeing her with other guys, I would also run that by your son just to see of he knows or if she is doing it behind his back. Good Luck!!! :)

It sounds like that girl could be trying to manipulate your son into staying with her. If I were you, I'd definately ask for a DNA test to be done. Also, ask her to show you the pregnancy test. I know sooo many girls these days who are using the,"I'm pregnant." approach as a way of making a guy stay with them. It's ridiculous. Good luck!

It is never wrong to ask for a DNA test of you are the prospective father and not in a commited married relationship. As the grandmother, you should not be the one to bring this up unless you want to risk alienating your grandchild's mother.
You should gently encourage your son to take this precaution fo rhis own peace of mind.

No, just don't act all crazy like the people on Maury. A DNA test is sometimes just something that is necessary, although expensive. Good luck to you and your Son.

No, it's not wrong. She probably only said that to get him back or because she knows he's a good guy and will step up. If you've seen her being promiscuous, ask for the test. You're only protecting your son.

OMG! That is the "thing" to do now. Tell your bf that you are pregnant to get him back! IF she is, and that's a big IF, then ask for a DNA test. But, just wait-n-see. Maybe get a pregnancy test, telling her that you are "just wanting to be sure".
