men. I am a woman. I have a few female friends but prefer male friends and have several that are only friends, which means I don't have any other type of relationship with them besides friendship strictly. Is there something wrong with me? Why do I prefer male friends to female friends?

I grew up with brothers and male cousins who accepted me as "cool" where as my female cousins rejected me...so naturally as I came into adulthood I tended to befriend the guys first...they don't judge you, can be very easy to confide in...BUT, be careful...the guy isn't always in it for friendship. Just choose VERY wisely.

Girl, we mirror each other. I am going through the same situation. All of my friends are males. I have roughly 2 or 3 female friends. I really don't give a damn what people think because it is none of their business. There is nothing wrong with you. I know it is strictly friendship, I even look at alot of them as brothers. I have 4 sisters, so I think that is why I am so withdrawn from females.

There's nothing wrong with having more male friends than female friends. You're more comfortable having male friends because they don't talk a lot of mess behind someone else's back as opposed to females. Females can be drama queens and males really don't care about drama and they don't have time for that. Not all females are drama queens and talk a lot of mess. As long as you're comfortable with the people that you call "friends," nothing else matters. I hope I've answered your question. Good luck.

that's easy. because if you notice , women are too complicated, and i am a women who prefers male friends too. Women never let things go, they always talk behind eachothers backs, and they are really boring, because they are too busy comparing themselves to their friends. When me go out, they hang out, they are there for the moment, living in the moment, not talking about nonsense, and each other, and things noone cares to talk about. and if a subject comes up that they don't want to talk about, they will just say, hey, i rather not talk about it, and it drops. you see, so you are really better off without them, because women friends only bring drama into your life. And if you do have a woman friend it's usually only 1 or 2 and they are the cool ones that hang with that male group with you, because only the cool ones get accepted if you know what i mean. the ones that can let stuff go, and don't nag. it's a gift.

there is nothing wrong with you if you prefer male friends. i personally have VERY few female friends, and those i have are like me. you probably have little tolerance for the games girls play and prefer to surround yourself with people where you know where you stand. nothing wrong with that. as a matter of fact, count yourself lucky. you are among the minority that realizes there truly can be a beneficial, truly pleutonic relationship between a man and a woman.

theres no problem with u or anything wrong, it just normal, its said after a particular age, women like men, men meaning masculinity found in them, sum sort of opposite attraction thingy, thats y u prefer men friends than women probably, or u r just flirty type, try dating or sumthing, would be better for u, to get a clear answer for urself

I am the same way! I don't think there is anything wrong with it. It has been my experience that men are more straight forward and honest with there friends then woman. Nothing wrong with it.

because most females are B I T C H E S and are so fake. i used to be the same way. a lot of women chose to have more male friends... it easier.

NOPE nothing wrong with you. for a girl...guys seem to be more trustworthy since a guy cant feel envy or jealousy. on the other hand for a girl to trust another girl can be more difficult....there will always excist the possibilty of sneekyness or some other type of haterism. I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND YOU!
