Completely normal. I was sick all during my pregnancy. It started at about 8 weeks into the pregnancy and ended when he was born. I have asked a few of my friends and family for you and some of them were sick all during pregnancy as well. Everybody is different. If you really can't handle the sickness then heres some tips.
1.) Try having ginger, (anything such as ginger biscuits, ginger beer or even crystalised ginger in hot water can help a great deal)
2.) Try eating dry toast. I know its better when its spread in butter but dry toast helps. Crackers and Biscuits also help.
3.) Wear travel sickness bands
4.) You can buy preggie pops from a chemist. Specially made in a range of yummy herbal flavours, they stop sickness straight away.
5.) They actually make music cds that can psychologically stop you from feeling sick. Not sure how it works but supposed to be really good.
Hope your pregnancy goes well! Good Luck xx

I have 2 children, during my first pregnancy I had morning sickness during the first trimester and it ended by the second trimester. During my second pegnancy,(1 1/2 years ago) I was fine at the beginning at started getting sick at ten weeks. My ob said that usually mornig sickness starts early and ends about 12 weeks but in some women it can start anywhere from 4-16 weeks, and it's perfectly normal. Unfortunately my morning sickness didn't end until my third trimester, but hopefully yours will end sooner. Good luck and congratulations on your pregnancy!

The first trimester rule is just a theory. Most women that I know have never had morning sickness. I, on the other hand was sick all day every day until I got to the 8th month. I was losing weight instead of gaining. It was awful. With all this said, I had a healthy baby and life went on.
If it continues, mention it to your doctor at the next visit. More than likely, it will just be temporary.

Durin g my first pregnancy, I patted myself on the back after 12 weeks and no morning sickness. On the day I hit 12 weeks and and 1 day it started, non stop nausea. I had it the entire second trimester until contractions took over in third trimester. Some people deal with the hormone fluctuations differently. It is not uncommon to have it in the second trimester. Make sure to tell your doc about it at your next visit, just in case.

Just be thankful-some women get it throughout their whole 9 months! Every woman's body is different, so even though it's normal for women to get morning sickness in the first trimester, it's not too uncommon to have it in the second. I know I did. It sucked. Just make sure you drink as much water as you can and try to stay as hydrated as you can because I ended up in the hospital for 2 days to try to get my hydration back to normal. Just leave some crackers by your bed and BEFORE you get up in the morning just munch and some of those-they soak up that nasty stuff. Then get up slowly and try to snack on little things throughout the day. Good luck and hope you feel better.

Morning sickness can strike at any time and any place. I had it weeks 5-9, it stopped entirely, but then in the past two weeks I've gotten sick twice. No pregnancy is the same - morning sickness can come and go in any trimester.

I had symptoms throughout my entire pregnancy. Some people are lucky, some aren't. Some say ginger works, it didn't for me. Some say the sea sickness bands work, they do a little until you wear them too much and get stretched out as they are supposed to be tight. For me lots of rest, spicy pickles (i have no idea why it was the only thing to stay down) and crackers was my diet for a few weeks. Good luck.

Could be a bug or could be morning sickness. With my last child I had morning sickness until i was 7 months and then got terminal indigestion until delivery. Thankfully he was 5 1/2 weeks early.

Perhaps you just have some kind of stomach bug. Morning sickness can last throughout the pregnancy but you're right that if you were going to have it, you probably would have by now. So its probably not morning sickness but just because you are pregnant you're not immune from getting viruses that could cause you to feel ill.

Morning sickness can strike at any time, and sometimes it can last during an entire pregnancy. So yes, it is completely normal. Try to change your diet slightly by having crackers to tame your stomach. Drink gingerale also, along with plenty of water. If it worsens, you can always ask your doctor. Good luck!
