Buy an obscene life insurance policy for my family. Then I would follow Michael Keaton's example in, My Life. Except, of course, I would ignore the Eastern medicine and any attempt to stop the inevitable.
As a father and husband, my thoughts and time would belong exclusively to my family.

Some would become daredevils because they knew they were not going to die before that date, some would mourn and waste the rest of thier time, some would plan and make sure their lives were in order. Some would party and enjoy the rest of the time, charging everything as they wouldnt be around to have to pay it. The truth is we are all going to die on a particular day, we just ignore the fact and live as if we won't.

Well, as tempted as I am to say I'd just make sure I wasn't home that day (which I just did):
Spend every minute cherishing family and loved ones, reminiscing about our lives together, letting go of anger and fear.
And I'd serve my community as much as I was able so I could leave the world a better place.

I would start mending hard feelings with relatives and friends. I would spend time with my family doing things I told them I didn't have time for.Not a day would go by that I didn't tell them I love them. I wouldn't spend alot of money. I wouldn't go to disney land. But the days would be sweeter and calmer. I would see my co workers in a new light. And treat them the way I should. And I would want no one to know whats coming. Just me.

I'd do everything that I was too afraid to do now. I'd tie up loose ends with friends, family, and finances. I'd prepare my will and then live completely in the moment!
Here's another thought/question: What if you were told that you'd die on that day, but actually died earlier from something else?

resign from my present job
as they were those who went to work on 9/11 whould they have went if they knew, I guess not
But I assume you talk about a peaceful death?
first of all let's assume it's not about an ill person
but some people would try to change this destiny, and some would have success
of course some would give things for charity, make pilgrimage , try to go to people who could help them
