Simple answer to this one: When in internet explorer go to 'tools' and then go to 'pop-up blocker' and turn it on.

Hope that's what you wanted to know!

get a pop up blocker

have a look on www.download.com for free ones

you can get them with the browsers you use too i.e. internet explorer and mozilla

beware though all pop ups are not always blocked, some still slip through.

you should download either yahoo or google toolbar. both include a popup blocker. or better yet, download mozilla firefox. it has a built in popup blocker and it's more secure than IE.

go to tools in your internet browser select options and turn on the pop up blocker. it limits the amount of pop ups you get. you get very few when it is enabled

I use the pop-up blocker that comes with my anti virus computer system. It works well too!

Do a virus scan with your anti virus program, if you dont have one get AVG anti virus

also get spybot search and destroy and do a scan with that..

it should solve your problem..

(they are both free)

to the person right below me, that only blocks the pop-ups. doesnt remove them so they are still dangerous..
