I used to do a lot of babysitting i think its of the discretion of the person who is asking you really i've had people that have paid £10 a night and taxi home i've also had some £20 a night or about £3.50 an hour depends on the family and how many kids really.
I always made sure there was arrangements in place for them to drive me back or pay for a taxi. that way you're all know where you stand.
would have thought on your course they will make recommendations
