Yep. "Batman and Robin". Dreadful, dreadful movie. We were all there for someone's birthday and it took till halfway through before anyone dared catch anyone else's eye. Then we realised we ALL felt the same and just upped and left for the nearest decent bar.
Then the evening brightened up!

I've never walked out of a movie in the theatre - I guess it's a combination of usually reading reviews beforehand and just a need to see a movie through to the end. (That doesn't mean I don't start talking back to the screen, though, as a way of making it through a crap film.)
I do give up on videos, though - I remember only making it about 15 minutes into "Indecent Proposal" and nearly dying of boredom during "The French Lieutenant's Woman."

I had to take a cigarette break at uni when watching Derek Jarmans The Last of England. It wasn't necessarily that it was a totally terrible film, simply that at times it went on forever about nothing. Oh and I had to turn off The Exorcism of Emily Rose cos I thought it was pants.

Yes! 3000 miles to Graceland. We thought it was going to be great because of the cast list...Wow, were we wrong. My husband and I actually asked for our money back (we thought it was unlikely because it was 1/2 way), and we got it! The manager said FIVE other couples had walked out also. Hmmm...definately not missing much with that flick!!

I left half way through the first Lord Of The Rings movie. It was so boring that I fell asleep, and when I woke up, I left.

Only once - the second "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" movie was so stupid that I felt there were a lot better things I could be doing with my time. I can't remember if it was at the theatre or if I just rented it . . .

I almost always stick around for the film because I paid for it. One exception comes to mind: The End of Days.
