At this early stage of pregnancy shortness of breath is usually caused by low blood pressure or anemia. The anemia can be sorted with iron supplements, the low blood pressure you may be stuck with.My doctor didn't see it as a problem even though it made me feel lousy and I fainted a couple of times :(

Yeah, sure. That is completely common. I suffered breathlessness all throughout my pregnancy and it was extremely uncomfortable. Its just because all your organs are moving and making room for a growing foetus.
Try not to lie on your back when you go to bed because that can make it harder to breathe. Also (this sounds strange but helped me loads) try sipping water from a bottle and letting the water touch your lips and breathing thru your nose.
You make think that its weird but being short of breath is uncomfortable so give it a try. Good luck with the pregnancy. Hope it all goes well! xxx

Hey they say that you can develop asthma when you're pregnant, so I'd get it checked out if it's really bad.
I have shortness of breath now-but I'm 31 weeks and blowing up like a house! [that's my excuse anyway! lol]

It relies upon on your definition of secure. Is it secure for the little ones? probably no longer! They have already got heartbeats, fingernails, and a springing up apprehensive gadget. Abortion kills living human beings. do no longer permit absolutely everyone convince you otherwise. to disclaim in fact to disclaim the actuality, notwithstanding the schedule could be.

Yes. You can actually develop a small case of asthma while pregnant. If it's really bad, you need to talk to your doctor, they may recommend you using an inhaler until it's better.
