Recently, Yes. But overall no. Ronaldinho is pure class and so is ronaldo but there is always a bit of cheating going on with ronaldo. If he gets the habit of cheating out of his game then he has the potential to be better than Ronaldinho when he gets to his peak.

Ronaldinho was born in March 21, 1980. Won the World Cup sub-17 with Brazil, was the scoring leader & MVP in the tournament. In 1999 won the Copa America with Brazil, scored one of the most beautiful goals ever (vs. Venezuela), last year won the UCL with Barcelona, as the leader. Won the FIFA player of the year trophy twice (2004 & 2005).
Cristiano Ronaldo was born February 5, 1985. Was runner-up in the 2004 European Cup with Portugal, 4th place in the 2006 Germany World Cup, with his club, Manchester United won the FA Cup & the Cardiff Cup both in 2004, was Champion with Lisboa of Portugal in 2001-2002, won the 2005 FIFPro Player of the Year ( a trophy gived by the fans).
So, you can take now your own conclutions, to me, Ronaldinho stays as the number one in the world.

I don't like Cristiano, but the kid is freakin' good. Give him 2-3 years to perfect his skill and then I think he'll be at the same level as Ronaldinho.

In EPL Style football, Ronaldo is better; Ronaldhino gets thrown off his game when things get physical and the middle gets too crowded for hi to do his stuff. Also, Ronaldo makes his team better with his speed and width opening up the field.
