Took some digging but I think the book is called "The Suspect". According to the transcript below taken from a site I found (listed as the source), it says "The Subsect" but I don't think that makes sense since Subsect isn't really a word.
RORY: Well, colour me curious. A book. (reading the cover) "'The Subsect'...written by Jess Mariano."
JESS: It's no misprint.
RORY: You wrote a book?
JESS: A short novel.
RORY: You wrote a book?!

Didn't even know jess wrote a book, haven't seen season six as yet though.

JESS!! I accept as true with you aside from once you called Dean lovable lol. i became into soo unhappy while Jess left the teach. however the real Paul Anka episode had a pair lovable moments with Jess and Rory (in the 6th season).
