always, I've just been hurt to many times by either boyfriends or girl friends. I'm married now to a guy who can't stand the fact that I still to this day won't open up too much. I think it may be also because my father didn't stick around a lot when I was a child and when he was around he was drunk and would fight w/ my mother. and then she married my step dad who wasn't much of a father figure.

I'm just shut down at the beginning...I don't let too many people get close to me at all. It's because...I don't really need or want all kinds of people knowing me that well I guess.

Nope. Dragon doesn't do any of that. She is not afraid of her feelings. :p
Sometimes she will have worries about things when someone is getting too close, but she has learned how to keep them mostly at bay.

Yes I do. I fear getting hurt and seems like when I let someone in.....in the end I do get hurt

Um...trust is always an earned thing. There are somethings that I appear to be an open book about, but that is only a fraction of me...through time more and more is revealed. I think it is always like that when you are learning about someone new in your life. : )

I almost did that with my boyfriend. I found myself dating this really nice guy....which is out of the normal for me so it didn't feel right...... but I took a chance and now its nice. Going on 1 year now.
