I have been using an OPK (ovulation predictor kit) and yesterday, I had felt as if I were ovulating and my ovaries/uterus area were feeling... funny like a tightening or moving around feeling, my boobs have also gotten sore. I took an ovulation test last night anyway and it came out positive when I have already ovulated this cycle.... Is it possible that it is positive because I have already ovulated, or because I am ovulating twice? I had my DH check my cervix (I know not a good way to check) and he said it was kind of in the middle, and it was not hard nor soft. ANyone have this happen to them? Thanks for reading and replying, I appreaciate it. (any rude comments/replies will be reported)

I started testing with an OPK last month, and from what I understood from the box...when it shows a positive you are supposed to stop testing until next month b/c it will only continue being positive.

If you feel something like tightening in your pelvic area, this is a sign of early pregnancy. Not to say that it always is, but I've been pregnant 4 times, and one of my very first signs (just a couple weeks after I got pregnant) was a discomfort in my pelvic area that felt like tightening or a mild menstrual cramp.

Right now, even if you were pregnant, it's really too early for there to be a change in your cervix, so that's not relevant. Hope this helps, and good luck!!

When you ovulate your LH (lutenizing hormone that triggers ovulation) surges very high and this causes a pos. opk. You ovulate on average 36 hours later. A lot of women will see a pos. opk for 2-3 days in a row as the LH surges and then comes back down--so it's like you catch the surge on the way up and on the way down. That is most likely what the pos. opk you saw last night was. When you ovulate twice in 1 cycle both eggs are released within minutes or hours of the first so you can't ovulate on 2 seperate days each cycle. Hope this helps!
