i curently use nero for burning my files ie movies to dvd. but having problems at the moment whith it. what im asking is there any other software like nero i could use to get the same results your opinions would be gratefully accepted thank you very much. ps need to know where to get to for free.

Lots of options... many people use Roxio's Easy CD Creator or whatever its called now (I think it belongs to sony now).
Depending on what your goals are you can also try:

Hi,
Nero 7 is the best burning software around, all the rest only try to do what Nero does so I would start saving up for Nero Version 7. Hope this helps.

Go to download.com there is a ton of freeware there including burning software. Good luck.
