When it comes to down there, lets say you want to shave or use laser to remove the unwanted hair, is it better for it to all be completely gone or to have some shape or pattern?
If so, what shapes or patterns are recommended that are considered sexy by men...
strip...I don't know much about what's out there when it comes to the patterns? Suggestions...

Go with laser hair removal and the landing strip or the V. If you choose the V, then you can shave or wax to other patterns. Bikini area LHR works very well and it is nice because it is gone and over and done with.

I wouldnt laser remove all of it If i was going to laser remove i would go with the V shape Or the Upside down V shape which is like anb A without the cross bar that way if you wanted to switch to a landing strip you could if you wanted to shave it off you could but as for shapes just type in pubic hair shapes at yahoo or google you can look at some pics and ideas oh how to do it but the normal stuff is V upside down V landing strip I Strawberry (not easy to do)

As a young woman, I would laser only the stuff around the very extreme edges. Honestly, pubic hair trends come and go. It's never chic to have hair poking out of your bathing suit, which is why that stuff can be permanently lasered away. But for the rest of the hair I would only do short-term removal like waxing or shaving because you never know when Brazilian waxes will go out of style and the natural look will come back in!

Many people think waxing is best b/c its not as much maitenance and you dont get ingrown hairs. You could nair or shave, using nair would keep you bare longer than a shave. I think completely shaving is hot, a lot of men do to. Really the design and how much you take of is completely individual. So be creative! I wouldn't suggest lasers/electrolosis b/c the appointsments are too expensive and theres too many of them to complete the job.

I wouldn't do either. I would trim very close, but not shave completely. Ingrown hairs and razor cuts in that are can be horrible. Not to mention when your pubic hair starts growing back, it can be awfully itchy. Whatever you do, don't use a chemical hair remover. It can mess with the ph of your vaginal area, and can cause yeast infections. As for as asthetics go, why not do a shape you like, instead of what a man would like?

It depends on your preference when it comes to bald vs some. Just keep in mind if you have laser it will not grow back if you don't like it. I recommend testing with shaving first to see what you like better.

go to one of this laser centers or where you are getting waxed, they have different hsapes there for you to see.
