How sweet of you to want to play games, with your son!! However, being that he's so young and all, hun, you really dont have alot of options there... His mobility skills aren't developed quite good enough too "Play Games" with him, except you maybe could teach him words........Point to your nose, and say "Nose", and mouth, the same, ears, too, you know... Otherwise, there's really not alot you can do with a 3 month old, other than begin to teach them to talk.. And make certain noises, those sort's of things!!! You will soon enough, be able to play all sort's of things with him, however, because they grow, so fast!!! soon enough you'll be on the floor with him teaching him all sorts of games!! It'll happen soon enough, you'll see!!! What a good mother you are!! How sweet, I miss my children being those ages!! And I just love, love, love BABIES!!! Smile!!! Have Fun, and enjoy him, while he's small, before you know it, he'll be off to college!! Time flies so fast!! Too fast for me!!!

What I do with my 3 month old is sing songs (not very good) with my 2 yr old, play peek aboo. He has a few toys but he only looks at them for a few minutes. He does however love listening to music just like my daughter.
Remember your little one doesn't care what you do, as long as you make them smile and giggle. Have fun.

Finger puppets!
Babies are adorable, but it can get pretty dull the first 3 or even 6 months (until they start to interact more). Try holding him in your lap and looking at books. "oh look at the cow! a cow says moo. Oh, and there is the farmer in the barn." Or lay him on his back and make faces or play "this little piggy".

The best games to play with him are the ones that will get him to lay on his tummy so that he can practice holding his head up, to find his toes and hands. If he is stumbling to hold head up roll a blanket into a long hot dog shape place him on it so that he can look at you get on the ground to his level and find a toy that lights up and plays music he will find it exciting and it will encourage him to reach for it. If he does reach take the blanket away and gradually scoot it to where he really reaches and he may begin pushing forward to get it this will help him with his motor crawling skills.

HE'S THREE MONTHS OLD! You don't need to "play games" with him yet. Read him some books or take him for a walk. He just wants to look at you and be held by you and hear your voice.

Peekaboo! or put some toys just a little bit out of his reach when he's laying on the floor and try to encourage him to roll over (if he hasnt yet)... umm... sing to him, or tickle him... babies just like the attention!
